eWarna forms strategic alliances

AATCC Review, Feb 2004

eWarna has formed an alliance with IBM to deliver Color-On-Demand web services to companies worldwide using IBM's WebSphere "middleware" platform. This will allow customers to concentrate on adding value from their own perspective, while including state-of-the-art color collaboration features into their solutions easily and cost effectively. According to the company, this alliance demonstrates its commitment to provide leading edge technologies to its custom--ers of all sizes.

eWarna has also partnered with Pantone Inc. to provide precise, online color management while reducing lead time. "By integrating Pantone colors into eWarna's cutting-edge color collaboration tools, our customers will be able to use the same color standard from inception through production," said Richard Herbert, president of Pantone.

eWarna is also working with American & Efird (A&E) to incorporate A&E's thread color palette within eWarna's Internet-based XMatch application. The move will make A&E's thread color library of more than 10,000 thread shades available electronically to all parties involved in selecting and communicating thread colors.
