Oh Young and OGD select eWarna solution

Korean dyestuff manufacturer Oh Young Industrial Co Ltd and Taiwanese firm Oriental Giant Dyes & Chemical Industry Corporation (OGD) have both chosen the XDyes solution to offer colour formation services to their global customers.

XDyes, a product of online colour management group eWarna, is the world’s first web-based recipe formulation tool.

The product allows dyers to get an instantaneous first cut recipe by selecting a colour from an industry palette, choosing a dye range and specifying illuminants or light sources to generate the desired colour.

Through its formation engine, it then automatically calculates all possible dye combinations to generate the five best recipes with the least colour difference to the selected target colour.

"We export dyes to over 50 countries annually and as we continue to grow, we need a proven and reliable solution to manage recipe and dyestuff enquiries from our growing customer base in Korea and overseas," Oh Young executive director KK Kim said.

XDyes is currently available in English, Japanese and simplified Chinese.
