VISIPAC Range From Pacsys

French company Pacsys offers control solutions across a number of industries, including textile manufacturing. It can supply a range of control software packages for automated inspection, cutting and wrapping stations.

Visipac Inspection is a powerful, modular, adjustable and multilingual software with a user-friendly Windows-based interface. It can be connected to all types of inspection machines for use with all types of textile substrate. Visipac Cutting software analyses and controls roll cutting to avoid wastage from each roll. It can control the cutting machine automating the operation through start, stop and cut, re-start. The Visipac Packing system identifies, weighs, and labels items to give a traceable and reliable system.

Use of these Visipac modules offers management centralised information displayed in real time. Compatible with MS Excel files, the system is easily customised and offers the reliability of product tracking via bar coding. The company says that it offers a 30% saving on inspection time as well as improving quality control.

EAS Offer Complete Systems

Based in Barcelona, Escarre Automatizacion y Servicios, SL (EAS) was established in 1991 to specialise in R&D into control software and automation processes for dyeing and finishing plants. Among its products is Infotint, a control and administration system for the monitoring of dyes, their progress through a factory, together with calculation of manufacturing costs. The program is flexible and offers extensive communication possibilities between different dyeing and tinting machines.

Another product, Texdrive, oversees the finishing plant from the delivery and administration of raw materials to the production sheets and final delivery of a finished product.

Spanish company Tints Igualada uses Texdrive for centralised information holding. This means that information on the production plant and any real-time incidents is readily available. At the same time, tasks such as machine assignment, formula retrieval, delivery details and costings are automated.

EAS also makes and distributes a wide range of accessories, including valves and probes, developed for the dyer or finisher who wishes to enhance the potential of his production line. It can also supply the PE4, a process programmer for discontinuous batch dyeing machines. It is easily adaptable to any type -jets, auto keys, jiggers etc. The ^E5 is a system of continuous supervision and control, designed for textile finishing machines, including Rames-type machines, washers, dyers, hangers etc.
