The rope dye ranges have been refined with the largest offerings in process control, dye mix and feed system, and drive technology. These remain the machines of choice for highest-quality, high-throughput production requirements of medium-to-heavyweight yarns, says Morrison. Kartaltepe Mensucat Fabrikasi TAS, a member of the Kilim Group, is one of the leading denim producers in Turkey. This integrated facility is located in Edirne, Turkey, and includes spinning, weaving, dyeing and printing for the production of denim and gabardine fabrics. Morrison completed the installation of a 24-rope indigo dye range and integrated denim finishing range for Kilim's continued expansion and its need for flexibility in processing lighter denim fabrics and multiple dye applications. The indigo dye range installation includes the Morrison FCS Process System, introduced at ITMA 2003, which is designed to safeguard the dyeing process. This system includes intuitively designed screens that show continuous data monitoring of recipe set points and process interaction, giving the operator an excellent machine- and system-control tool.
