Production Monitoring via Controllers

ETV's production and management monitoring units include the TLH 101 and EDI/6. These are terminals based on numeric (TLH 101) or alphanumeric microprocessors (EDI/6) to provide constant control over production data and timing (product ID, detected faults and the relevant parameters, production planning) for inspection machines, looms, textile enhancement plants and textile machinery in general. They are available with an external fault push button panel, printers for adhesive or non-adhesive tags and packing lists. These devices can be connected to peripherals like scales and the terminals can be networked with a PC.

Management Software

PC software systems include Terminal Management, an application designed to have terminals and PCs communicate via RS 485 interface; fundamental data from each terminal are shown in a single page; extended data from a terminal is highlighted. Users can select whichever terminal and data they are interested in.

Data collected through terminals is managed in a Microsoft Access database, connected to an application designed to gather data frdin terminals (data exchange between the two applications). Data and tables for all machine data can be displayed; an entry mask enables the user to select the kind and sorting order of the data to be shown.

Data reports can be printed; users can select fields and grid sorting order. For numeric fields, totals and mean values can also be printed.
