eWarna releases new version of web-based colour workflow application - XMatch

Textile.2456.com, Oct 2004

Online colour collaboration solution provider eWarna recently released version 2.0 of its web-based colour workflow application XMatch.

Since the new version can link to PLM, CAD and other supply chain solutions, specifications created by designers and merchandisers on the PLM side could be directed to automatically create color jobs for matching approval in XMatch. Colorists and Dyers throughout the supply chain use XMatch to manage their digital lab dip approvals, bulk approvals, bulk sorting and so on, with the API ensuring that the status of each stage is also presented in the PLM tracking module.

According to Richard Lawn, Chief Strategy Officer of eWarna, the new version can save up to 75% of colour approval workload for major specifiers already running it on its own.

Apart from high network visibility and customisable workflow, XMatch 2.0 has added new tools like bulk colour approval, unlimited reports creation and support for multiple report formats.
